More Halloween

Needless to say, Ethan had a blast at the church fall festival tonight. His favorite activity was playing with the cow balloon, but he had fun in the inflatable castle, too.

All in all, it was a great day, and he only ate 2 pieces of candy...a halloween record, I'm sure!

Happy Halloween...ROAR!!!

Well, to be honest, we were a little concerned that Ethan would not be willing to wear his costume this year, but as you can see, he was and he actually got pretty fond of it! I think it was the attention from everyone in the store that helped him warm up to it. So, here is our little lion cub. We took him to lunch and to the store, where he received his first piece of halloween candy from an employee (see picture). He was a big hit!
We also have an event at church tonight, so I'll post some more pictures later.
Oh, and thank you, Nana, for the great costume...passersby in the store said it just seemed right for him!

Paper Towels

I know, I know...it's been a while since I've posted. The truth is, I haven't even taken any pictures between the apple orchard and last night...sorry to all of the grandparents!

So, speaking of last night, Ethan found a roll of paper towels, and well, you can see what happened by the time I found him. He continues to be "all boy", constantly busy and into everything! We're also continuing to enjoy our new home in Michigan (no, we're not snowed in yet, Aaron). The leaves have gone from providing constant beautiful scenery to being all but gone...I guess that means that winter is coming. I may make it back to South Carolina sooner than I had planned...haha!

Apple Orchard

While Ethan's grandparents were here, we visited a wonderful apple orchard up here. We all snacked while we picked (including Ethan) and afterward, we enjoyed fresh cider and homemade donuts! Ethan especially enjoyed playing in the little house.

Thanks for visiting and for the great time we had, Poppy and Nana!!!

Poppy and Nana's Visit

Yes, Ethan's Poppy and Nana (Emily's parents) came to visit this week, and today we went to the beach (at Lake Huron)! It is unusually warm right now (90 degrees), but by Wednesday, the low 50's will have arrived, so we wanted to take advantage of the weather. We had a great time and plan to head back outside this evening for more fun by the lake!

Family and Friends

These were taken during our last days before moving to Michigan. The weekend before we moved, we were in NC for cousin Will's birthday party, and the boys decided to use "Uncle Matt" for a horse...we had a great time with them!

We also got to spend some time with Ethan's great-grandparents, and he truly loved playing outside with them (and Matt and I loved the homemade breakfast we had).

The day before we moved, we had one last playdate with Ethan's playgroup. The date just happened to take place at Ethan's girlfriend's house. He and Lauren have been friends for a while now, and they had so much fun that day, playing in the couch cushions. And as you can see, the horse theme continues, only this time, Ethan got the lead role!

We miss all of our family and friends, but cherish the time we had before the move...we love you!
